Location close to the seaside Having an apartment as opposed to just a hotel room.
The facilities are very basic, a little upgrading would make this a much more chic, attractive apartment. Kitchen was not fully stocked as claimed - there was not even a sharp knife, a cooking spoon, tongs or a spatula - no utensils for cooking at all. We looked immediately onto a stone roof, which could have been landscaped at least. The advertising was misleading - I had expected to be overlooking the beach. On rechecking the website, it had mentioned being across the road from the hotel, but it did not quite admit that this was not providing a view of the beach. The photos were of the hotel views, not the apartment views. This should changed to paint a more realistic picture. A full afternoon and night without any internet. Although on vacation, work never stops and both of us being from America, we needed to be conducting business from mid afternoon and through the night. This was a major loss for us and the staff did not seem to think it was a big deal - they simply said it would be repaired the next day. They should have 24/7 technology maintenance. We would not have selected this venue if we had known internet would not be available for such a long period.
The phone did not work. The bath tap was stuck so we had to shower. We were 4 people staying and only 3 towls. We did notify them about these faults the first day, but no response.
It is not romantic, it is starting to look shabby and needs attention to detail, smells mouldy, when we asked to be moved to another room we were told it was fully booked, but only ever swa another couple there.
The apartments were spacious and had everything we needed
The apartment is above the salt Bistro and vodka Lounge a party went on to the early hours of the morning. Resulting in no sleep. The apartment above also partied and high heel shoes could be heard clicking from 4 oclock for around an hour or so on the wooden floors The event was supposed to finish at 10 oclock which is apparently the Hotel rules. We were lucky that management found room for us at the hotel for the following evening as a further event was on the cards. Not first prize as we prefer an apartment. Was also issued with a dinner voucher
The friendliness and excellent service delivered by all staff members - literally each and every employee, no matter their role or position, went out of their way to be accommodating, friendly and helpful. This made for a wonderful stay. We shall definitely return!
They where very spacious and well positioned. They where neat and modern.
The furnishings where lacking, such as pictures on the walls = 0. It just needs warming up a little, it looked like work in progress. The aircon in the Main room did not cool at all. There was a new aircon in the lounge??
Spacious rooms, beds good quality, location.
Noise levels are quite high.
Apartment looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Nowhere was it mentioned that the hotel/establishment is split into 2 parts. Our appartment was on the 2nd floor and virtually had no sea view. We stayed on the non-sea side accross the road from the actual hotel in something that they called Executive Apartments. Of course the use of word 'executive' is exceedingly exaggerated. Kitchen appliances were from the 19th century. At least the linen was clean, but had holes in it in some places.
The location of the hotel is excellent and the service of the staff is excellent and very friendly!! Always willing to assist and help!!
I was a bit disappointed that we didnt have a balcony as on the pictures on the website I was lead to believe that all the self catering apartments had balcony'S. The kitchen I found wasnt equiped enough needs a few more utensils (tin opener) and glass dishes and pots and pans. Other than that we loved every minute of our stay!
The most friendly and obliging staff members. Vuyis (hope I spelt that correctly) at reception was unbelievably efficient and friendly as were all the staff from the cleaning staff to the valets.
Parking in the basement a bit of a hassle - but not really complaining - it was for free!!
good view, beautiful place, good people working there!
Suites need a bit of up keep. Stove kept tripping my power. The heater plug was open, so i was too scared to plug it into the wall as it was not safe. The flys in the suite was irritating as there were many Breakfast was not worth the money chicken burger for R70 room service was a rip off
Just the location. Good view when curtains open, but everyone can see into your room, so mostly your curtains are closed due only 1x curtain to close...no net etc to block people seeing in.
Will never stay in the aparments again. Old, dirty, tiny bathroom, confused reception staff, noisy fridge, flies in the room, filthy fridge, bedding with holes and smelly carpet & passages. Huge dissappointment. More like a 2-3star resort than 4 star???
Convenient. Well laid out and spacious.
Noisy fridge which we had to switch off every night. Did report this problem but was not resolved.
Nothing. I request that we can are transfer to the hotel. I had a beach front room which was excellent and clean and the Salt restuarant in hotel I will also recommend. The food was good
The aircon did not work. The place need a upgrade. The walls and ceiling and plugs were dirty. The shower floor look terrible. There is a leak in bathroom ceiling. It was black. The outside furniture table was rusty. There was 2 long electrical cabels hanging outside our apartment which prevent you to see the seaview
perfectly located with a great view and shielded by the wind. the hotel staff are very friendly and can't seem to do enough.
